Tasty Garden Chinese Restaurant in Frisco

Very clean place and everything tastes very fresh.

The food was ok. The 1 star is for the front order lady plucking and trimming her eyebrows in the dining area, while we ate. Then she started clipping and filing her nails just before we left. Gross.

The food is OK for American Chinese. Nothing to brag about. Self service was ok. Very fast and fresh.

Don’t believe these food “critics”!! This is the BEST Chinese food takeout around. I’ve tried over 20 and this blows them all out of the water. Great portions, Full of flavor, super quick delivery. Try for yourself. And don’t forget, just like all delivery, it’s even better when u eat there 😋

The food is good but That doesn't really make up for the lack of customer service when ordering delivery it is deplorable. They rush you and give very little description of the dishes when you ask. The Person answering the phone tries to have too many conversations at once with people in the background or on other lines. They should focus on what they're doing when taking your order

Everything is freshly cooked! There's a big window to the kitchen and you can see chiefs prepares your orders. Will come visit again soon!

Very Good Food. Pick up is always ready.

Clean and friendly takeout food! This place is much cleaner and friendlier than most takeout places around. The lunch special prices are great and the portion is a good size.

I hate giving bad reviews but I think people should know the food here is really bad. Everything is deep fried in thick batter. Sweet and sour pork is neither sweet nor sour, just deep fried batter over a tiny cube of pork. Walnut shrimp --- deep fried in heavy batter. Potstickers were oily, under cooked with tiny pieces of tasteless pork. The only flavor in the entire meal is the taste of oil and I can still taste it an hour later. Nice place, very nice people. I'm sorry.

A typically common average chinese restaurent. Difficult to communicare in English.Average pricing while food better than most.A convenient location for me.

Great mom and pop restaurant

Casual diner with all the standard Chinese offerings. I have been choosing Tasty Garden over the competitors because they provide a little more vegetables with the entrees. Dine-in is fast and comfortable.

Maybe this was a bad day, but I unfortunately can't eat the majority of this meal I ordered today. The crab Rangoon appetizer was so greasy that I'm still smelling the oil on me about twenty minutes after eating them. Then the main course (tofu with shitake mushrooms) was just not good. Tofu kind of depends on the flavoring of what it's combined with, but the sauce had zero flavor and the mushrooms tasted like they were rehydrated, and had a very rubber consistency. Then I ordered fried rice and same kind of issue, no flavor, tasted stale.

They should fire the cooks. This is not Chinese food. The cheesecake was good and everything else (General chicken) and appetizers made me sick. Very bland, oily, and full of corn syrup. They were nice though. I wanted to avoid writing a negative review but I wish I had known before ruining my dinner and throwing away money.

Rudest restaurant owners.The place is filthy, food horrible, and they charge for every little thing. Ie chili sauce 50 cents.what a flipping joke

I use to love to come to this place but today I did not have a good experience. Due to the pandemic it is take out only which is OK. But the woman the was taking the order was very rude. She got upset because we could not understand due to her heavy accent. I can understand people having accent but her as a service provider should not treat her customers like that specially because we were not been rude to her.

Awful! Took over an hour to get our delivery. Food was cold and awful! Delivery guy and people at the store had different excuses. The whole experience was bad! Go elsewhere!

Second time to grab some yummy goodness from Tasty Garden. 1. This place is super clean!!! 2. The food comes out very quickly. 3. The staff is very helpful. 4. Everything is delicious 😋 5. So many good choices. Definitely a place to try in Frisco if you like Asian food.

I can't eat carbs so I don't eat the rice but they are shrimp with lobster sauce is the best one around and I have tried many and it's not loaded with peas or mushrooms like some other places close around

Very solid Chinese food. I typically dine in and enjoy the experience. Their Sesame Chicken is always very crispy and delicious.

Used to be very good and fresh. Last time we went it was barely better than Panda Express.

I have been ordering delivery from this restaurant for several years, and have always had great food and speedy timely delivery. I order the Vegetable Chicken and Sizzling Rice Soup - really delicious. Very very fresh vegetables and meat that are cooked and seasoned well. I highly recommend - great value, price, and food!

The sitting area is very clean and I like how you can see into the kitchen. The food was average, the lo mein was WAY too salty, it had a good flavor otherwise.

Love the food, one of my favorites places to go when I'm in Frisco, love their soups and low mein, they never disappoints, place is clean and the staff is friendly

Always good. Fast affordable lunch

Was told by my boss years ago that its the best take-out Chinese in Frisco, and...that's still the case today. I always pick-up (never have delivered), for the very reasons that folks miss their delivery...cuz apartments are hard to navigate sometimes. But the food and service are top-notch, you will NOT find a better Chinese take-out place in Collin County. Portions are generous, so much so that a dinner will last us 2-3 more leftover meals. That and you can actually SEE the chefs cooking your meal, the kitchen has a long glass partition...so there's no doubt about the cleanliness of their cooks. Trust me, you'll eat here and never want Panda Express again!!

No one said hi, we walked in sat down no one told us or no signs saying you need to order at the front. Food was not good, rice was stale no flavor & overall way to overpriced for what we got. Egg drop soup not good weird smell.

Reasonably priced with good variety on the menu. The noodle soups are nice. The green beans with pork or chicken on rice is a yummy dish.

Had a very bad experience. Ordered food today and found a bug in the food which looked like a small roach. My daughter accidentally put it in her mouth and started throwing up as she was grossed out. Would give negative stars if that was an option. Will never go back here.

I’ve been going to Tasty Garden since they opened. The service over the years have gone down the drain. They are now trying to nickel and dime their customers for everything. I’ve NEVER had a restaurant charge me extra for soy sauce or sweet and sour sauce that should come with my egg roll.It’s a shame that they only care about money, not customer service

I'm never eating here again. Period. I got sick after eating from here and 3 months later, I have H. Pylori infection. Ever since eating here, I am burping nonstop for 3 months. Their food may taste good but it just makes you sick. Do not eat here! Having this sickness is the worst experience of my life.

We had the best time here. The food was amazing, probably the best tasting I've ever had. We will be making many trips back, absolutely loved it!

Wonderful spot to enjoy some amazing Chinese food! Great prices, great service, and a great menu selection! Highly recommend it for a quick lunch, or always great for take out.

Very disappointed about our food. We ordered 3 orders Orange Chicken, mild as my Granddaughter would also be eating this and one order extra spicy General Tso's Chicken. Two orders steamed rice and two fried rice. We ordered for pick up. Once home found that we had one Mild Spice Orange, one Medium and one extra spicy. The General Tso's was xtra spicy but said sauce wasnt good, burnt chili peppers and the fried rice very bland, just not good. We will not be going back.

I don't understand the positive reviews for this place. The food isn't bad, it just tastes like nothing. If you're allergic to any seasoning, this place is for you, because they don't seem to use any. It is pretty quick -- but I'd rather wait a little longer to get a better lunch.

We found this place while driving along and I wanted Asian food, so we went here. Wasn't impressed. I ordered some beef meal with crispy rice. The beef was gray and the meal was disgusting, so I got it exchanged with the chicken fried rice. (I was expecting noodles, not uncooked noodles. My fault. The meal also had broccoli, carrots, and mini corn).I thought the chicken fried rice, but it wasn't the best Asian food that I had. No one else liked their food unfortunately. (2 others got the chicken fried rice)This was our experience, but I'm sure there's someone who will like it. At least we can cross this place off our list for restaurants to try.
